Pat Armstrong

Life long resident of Virginia Beach, Pat is a Class A contractor for 14 years and studied at Va Tech and ODU for Mechanical engineering. He loved building more than studying differential equations so he left school and began his construction career in the early 80’s. He started his own construction company and has worked on large scale apartment jobs as well has building high end homes. He has worked on many commercial construction jobs as well, which lead him to Stihl, where he managed the construction of all their new buildings. He worked for Dernis for 3 years in 2000 as our production manager and has recently joined Dernis again as part of our residential sales team. In Pat’s free time, he still loves to work with wood and build fine furniture. He loves to cook and even grows his own Shitake mushrooms.
