Don is responsible for sales management, domestic operations, and financial management of Dernis International. Don joined Dernis in 2005 and became a shareholder/partner several years later. Don has been a significant contributor to the growth of the hospitality and commercial division. Under Don’s leadership, Dernis has successfully partnered with the world’s leading hospitality brands such as IHG, Choice Hotels, Hilton, and Wyndham. Don has also developed many strategic relationships with FF&E/Procurement companies, general contractors, design firms, and ownership groups in the hospitality and lodging industry. Prior to joining Dernis, Don worked as a Corporate Banker at Wachovia and its predecessors for 15 years. Don graduated from Norfolk Academy in 1986, Hampden-Sydney College in 1990 (BA in Managerial Economics) and The Mason School of Business at William and Mary (MBA) in 2003.
